Every morning I wake up to a new load of snow.  I guess better than the floods we have had over the past weekend.  Despite the bad weather we had a great crowd for our Tuesday meeting.

Our speaker was Steve Mestre from the Reno Club.  Steve is an expert on the Giving Trail which is a way to fund raise and attract new members.  Steve gave a lengthy presentation so all who attended would have an understanding how it works.  There will be more discussion at our board meeting on Jan. 24th.

Courtney Pino provided us with additional information for the Purple Pinkie Run.  There was a Fund Raising meeting before our regular meeting, a lot of news coming out of that meeting soon.
Member Dennis McCormac had a mild stroke while in Walnut Creek.  While he is in rehab please e-mail him or call.  He said it is very boring waiting to go home.  Kay will be bringing him back to Reno as soon as the Doctors allow him to travel.
President Leslie Adams asked us to hold the date of March 31st to attend the combination dinner of the Rotary Foundation and Paul Harris Society.  This dinner will be held at the Atlantis.
The membership committee will be announcing a Fireside Chat date, time and place for our new members and reacquainting our regular members.  The particulars will be coming out soon.
REMEMBER NEXT TUESDAY IS OUR DON'T RETURN IT, DONATE IT AUCTION.  BRING YOUR SPOUSES AND OTHER GUESTS FOR A FUN EVENING.  LET LESLIE OR MELISSA OR CLAIRE KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING SOMEONE SO WE CAN HAVE ENOUGH GREAT FOOD FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!
O.K. who is this guy diving for the red marble?  We are all still in the running it was the white one.  See you all Tuesday.
